'Frozen Ground' Trailer: Vanessa Hudgens Strips, Cage and Cusack Reunite (Video)

The thriller follows a Alaskan detective, played by Nicolas Cage, as he hunts down a serial killer.

Vanessa Hudgens attempts to dirty up her image a bit with a turn in the thriller The Frozen Ground, playing a stripper who crosses a serial killer’s path.

The first trailer for the film highlights Hudgens and starsNicolas Cage and John Cusack in the Alaska-set film.
Cage plays detective Glenn Flothe, who sets out to end the rampage of a serial killer (Cusack) who has gone unnoticed for 13 years. When a 17-year-old (Hudgens) escapes the serial killer, the detective uses her vital knowledge to track down the deadly man.
The thriller, directed by Scott Walker, is based on real events from the 1980s. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson also appears in the film, which is set to be distributed by Lionsgate.
In the first trailer, Hudgens shows plenty of skin as the young stripper, while Cage and Cusack (who starred in 1997’s Con Air together) play a complicated game of cat and mouse.
It looks like at some point in the film the two men will cross paths, but at the time Cage’s character doesn’t realize that he is sitting right next to the serial killer.
